Deadline for EARLY REGISTRATION (discount fee, see below) is: May 31, 2003

To register please use the electronic registration form (also includes accommodation request). 
If you want to submit an abstract  please go to  the abstract submission page and use the dedicated form therein. 
If,  for some unlucky reason, you cannot use the electronic form to register you can send a fax to the conference secretariat (+39 050 2214 317) containing all the information listed below.

Information to be provided for the registration:

Information to be provided for the Hotel reservation:

  • WHERE: if you prefer to stay in TIRRENIA or downtown PISA
  • HOTEL: if you prefer 3 or 4 stars class hotel
  • ROOM: if you prefer a SINGLE or DOUBLE room shared with an accompanying person or with a colleague (please indicate his/her name)
  • Number of accompanying persons
  • Number of additional social dinners

Reservations will become effective only after the payment of  a deposit of  90 Euro per room to be paid as for the Conference fee (see below).

Cancellations will be accepted only in written form (e-mail or fax to the Conference Secretariat). However, only 90% of deposit will be refunded, and only if requested before June 15, 2003. No reimbursement will be possible at a later time.

   
  Conference fee
 
  • Early registration: 350 Euro (for registrations within May 31)
  • Late registration: 400 Euro (for registrations after May 31)
  The registration fee includes: a copy of the proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches, social dinner, excursion.
 
The registration fee may be paid:
 
  •  in advance (this is necessary for early registration):
    •  by bank money transfer to: "Amaldi 5 Conference" at Banca di Roma, account number 652493/32 - ABI 3002 - CAB 14000 - SWIFT BROMITRDFIX
    • or sending a personal check in Euro (non transferable, at the order of: "Amaldi 5 Conference")
  • at the Conference desk, only by cash in Euro or by personal checks in Euro, EC, traveler's checks.
   
  Fees for accompanying persons
  Lunch tickets will be available at the registration desk at the price of 25 Euro each. The fee for excursion & social dinner for an accompanying person can be paid in advance or at the registration desk at the price of 50 Euro.
   
  Financial Support
 
Some limited funds may be available to provide partial relief on the payment of your registration fee and local accommodation for individuals from abroad who otherwise would be unable to attend the conference. Persons who can demonstrate that support of this nature is necessary for them to attend the conference should apply. Applications should be sent by e-mail or FAX to the Conference  secretariat  within May 31, 2003 in order to be considered. Applications for aid must justify the request for support. They should describe what specific contributions the applicant plans to make to the conference. A brief list of recent publications, research interests and position held should also be included. Applicants should describe what other sources of funding would be available to them, since any support that can be provided by the conference will not be sufficient by itself to cover the entire conference cost.
