The European Gravitational Observatory (EGO) welcomes scientists interested in spending a period at the Virgo detector site to work on specific projects.

If you are a scientist visiting the Virgo detector site for the first time, please fill in the “Visiting Scientist for the First Time” form. This form is intended to collect some information about you and details about your research project, in order to better organize your stay at EGO.

Please note that this form is intended for both LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA (LVK) collaboration scientists visiting the site for the first time and scientists who are not part of the collaboration.

If you are a scientist who regularly visits Virgo for research activities and you need to request a service from EGO for your next stay, such as an office, please fill in the “Regular Virgo Visitors” form. This form allows EGO staff to arrange the requested service in advance.
