Safety at EGO is under the direct responsibility of EGO Director.
The person in charge of the implementation and enforcement of the safety rules is the Safety and security officer Frédéric Richard (frederic.richard@ego-gw.it)

In order to ensure the safety and security on site it has been established the EGO Safety Group. Its mission consists in:
  • Defining a policy for the elimination and prevention of dangers and risks in order to improve working conditions
  • Contributing to the awareness of dangers
  • Participating in the elaboration of new technical projects that include safety aspects
  • Ensuring that the law is enforced
To accomplish its mission the Safety Group refers to the Safety and Security Officer and responsibilities are organized as follows:

TRAINING

Training course on safety are regularly organized and scheduled.

In 2009 the training program are scheduled as follows:

- March 16th: How to use properly the forklifts.
- March 23th: How to use properly the beam crenes.

In 2008 the training program was scheduled as follows:

- December 17th: First-aid training for newcomers.
- December 10th: First-aid training for newcomers.
- December 10th: Re-training for the first-aid team.
- November 28th: First-aid training for newcomers.
- November 27th: Re-training for the internal fire brigade.
