How to reach EGO

EGO is located near the town of Cascina, in the wonderful Tuscan countryside near Pisa, Italy.

No public transportation leads to the site. If you do not have a car, we suggest you coming by train to Pisa and from there take a taxi. You can check the timetable for trains at the website of Trenitalia.

We strongly recommend that all visitors access EGO via Via Macerata, as indicated on the map below. Please note that Via dello Zannone, although shown on Google Maps, is reserved for residents only and is difficult to travel.

Access via “Via Macerata” is, however, prohibited for heavy vehicles exceeding 3.5 tons due to the limited capacity of a small bridge. If you need to reach EGO with a heavy vehicle (e.g., a bus for school groups), please contact us by filling out the form below.
