REINFORCE Webinar

Discovering the unexplored deep marine environment, a webinar organized by REINFORCE (REsearch INfrastructures FOR Citizens in Europe), will take place on the 26th of February, from 3 pm to 4 pm CET.
One of the ways citizens can contribute to frontier science, through REINFORCE, is by supporting the KM3NeTs scientists. KM3NeT is a deep underwater neutrino telescope which measures neutrino events but also environmental events that constitute “noise” for its searches. These environmental events range from biological bioluminescence to acoustic signals from sea mammals. In the webinar potential citizen scientists, but also neutrino researchers and academics, will discover how citizen science can help recognize and classify these noises, and thus play an active role in the advance of ground-breaking research.
