EGO and Virgo at Lucca Comics & Games 2024

This year at Lucca Comics & Games get ready to dance to the notes of gravitational waves!

On Sunday 3 November at 11.00 a.m. meet us at the Community Village (Giardino degli Osservanti) for “8 bit cosmo beats”, a DJ set organised by EGO in collaboration with IMT – Scuola Alti Studi Lucca that will take us from the world of video games to the boundaries of the cosmos.

How does the gravitational echo of two black holes merging millions of light years from Earth sound? 🌌 Mario Salvucci and Massimo Magrini, musicians and sound designers engaged in the sonification of scientific data, will let us explore new soundscapes, playing with data and their audio-digital metamorphoses.
