Gravitational Wave Network

A scientific and technical program of a worldwide, global coordination scheme exists between EGO/Virgo, LIGO, KAGRA and other major infrastructures of Gravitational Wave research to give a stronger institutional form to the current status of worldwide collaboration, in what has been called the International Gravitational Wave Network (IGWN).

EGO has also increasing collaboration relationships with
Einstein Telescope
Cosmic Explorer
GWIC (Gravitational Wave International Committee)
International Pulsar Timing Array
LISA, the ESA satellite for GW research
The Atomic Interferometry project for GW research ELGAR

Inside the GWIC EGO participates to the working group of preparation of the Third Generation (3G) Gravitational wave antenna: GWIC-3G
