system engineering

The System Engineering department will play a central role in supporting Virgo’s upgrade projects, dealing with several key activities to ensure their success. In particular, the department will be responsible for conducting project review activities, including design review, production readiness and verification review, to ensure that each phase meets technical and quality requirements. Furthermore, it will manage Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA&QC) activities, monitoring compliance with regulations and quality standards. Other essential tasks include site integration supervision, technical management and overall system engineering management, with the aim of coordinating the various subsystems and ensuring efficient and smooth integration.
