Administration
The administrative department is responsible for accounting and budget management, including, but not limited to, budget preparation, budget planning and reporting, the inventory of EGO’s assets, and the management and reporting of EU projects. The department is responsible for the administrative management of human resources, as well as for representing with the Director of EGO the Consortium in relations with the trade union delegation. It is responsible for internships and apprenticeships. It is also responsible for procurement and the awarding of contracts. Finally, it is responsible for General Affairs, including the tasks necessary to ensure the functioning of EGO: Virgo Protection, Transparency, Privacy.

Management of operational tasks related to the administrative management of personnel with regard to recruitment, contractual amendments and the like. Management of the external Reception service. Managing the administrative tasks related to the reporting of European projects. Management of the operational fulfilments connected to the administrative management of personnel with respect to attendance, the issuance of pay slips and the payment of salary entitlements, and missions of EGO personnel. Management of staff training processes. Updating of Consortium documents (ORG, welcome book, etc.). Management of the external Reception service. Management of apprenticeship and school/work alternation courses.
Finance & EU accountability
Administrative/accounting management of the Consortium (orders, invoices, payment mandates, tax and customs formalities). Interface with banking offices. Verification of documentation accompanying invoices for payment purposes. Computation of the Department’s final estimates. Cash management. Assistance to the external consultant in charge of drawing up the budgets. Preparation of documentation and in activities relating to the Board of Auditors, the Consortium’s financing bodies and other control bodies. Management of the Consortium’s assets at the administrative/documentation level. Administrative management of the EGO car fleet.

Management of contracts and their awarding in compliance with the EGO Regulation and the applicable Italian regulations. Management of administrative formalities relating to works, services and supply procedures. Creation and management of the Register of Suppliers. Management of procurement processing through the platforms used by EGO. Publication of the acts and documents required by the EGO Regulation.
