ET-PP (Preparatory Phase for the Einstein Telescope Gravitational Wave Observatory) is a Coordination and Support Action funded under the Horizon Europe research programme to address a number of fundamental prerequisites for the approval, construction and operation of the Einstein Telescope, the European Third-Generation Gravitational Wave Observatory, designed to observe the Universe by covering the whole spectrum observable from Earth with interferometric GW detectors.
EGO is one of the 16 European partner organizations and the lead partner for the Sustainable Development Strategy, including strategies for low carbon footprint, low energy consumption, sustainable reuse of excavation materials and a smart model for transportation. EGO is also co-coordinator of the work package on Education, Outreach and Citizen Engagement.
